Our Team

Margaret G. Benedict Ph.D

College Preparation Services was founded by Margaret G. Benedict, Ph.D., a professional educator who has spent over twenty years working with students at the secondary school and university levels. Holding a Ph.D. in 16th century English literature from Lehigh University, Dr. Benedict has taught college level English at Villanova University and Fairfield University. Her work has been published in many professional journals and she has presented papers at numerous international symposiums.

Dr. Benedict is also the founder and Executive Director of the Matthew Gaffney Foundation (http://www.gaffneyfoundation.com/) which provides college preparation services to qualified economically disadvantaged students.

Patricia Dunn (TM Dunn) MFA in Creative Writing, Sarah Lawrence College

Patricia has served as Senior Director of the Writing Institute at Sarah Lawrence College, and as Assistant Dean to Graduate Studies and Special Programs, and has over twenty years of experience teaching High School Students how to write their college essays.
